Ship Pax Award for "Outstanding Cruise Concept"

The Avalon Tranquility, Avalon Imagery and Avalon Tapestry for their innovative ship design. The passenger and propulsion sections of each vessel are separated, thus reducing noise and vibration and allowing for a smoother cruise experience. This ground-breaking design is also known as the Silent Drive System (SDS)

2006

MS Royal Lotus voted "Best Nile Cruise" by the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism

The high-ranking award was presented in Cairo and was based on a number of key criteria such as the safety and comfort on board, the modern design, outstanding gastronomy, and first-class service combined with Swiss hospitality.
